'All Mixed Up' (40 Mins)

All Mixed Up is a gripping tale of two female climbers from Scotland as they push their limits to see if they have what it takes in the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Tackling some of the steepest and toughest routes in the country, their roller coaster ride of self-questioning and sheer bloody-mindedness dressed up as determination is an inspirational story of success in the hard world of winter mixed climbing.

Fiona Murray, released from her day job in Edinburgh, spends a full winter season in the snow and ice working increasingly difficult routes. In contrast, Flo Babolat is on a flying visit and has just one short week to realise her ambitions. Share in their frustrations and achievements as their efforts culminate in the hardest ascents by a British female.

Fools with Tools is a fast flowing climbing film which doesn't take itself too seriously. The film focuses on the efforts of a group of relatively unremarkable but determined climbers from Edinburgh and their attempts to repeat Scott Muir's dry tooling test piece Fast and Furious. The film follows the fools from their indoor training, past the easier warm up routes, to finally show their attempts on Fast and Furious itself. It combines a self-deprecating sense of humour with genuine human emotion that surfaces when climbers push themselves to their own physical and mental limits.
